Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre plays a role in the prevention of illegal trade with primates from around the world. At the centre refugees of this illegal trade as well as those that have suffered abuse or neglect are rehabilitated into natural living groups.
Monkey World is open every day except Christmas Day, from 10am to 5pm. During July and August, opening times extend from 10am to 6pm. Last admission is 1 hour before closing.
