Phase one of our refurbishment is complete
Our employees received a very special gift this Valentine’s Day with the first phase of our IHG Open Lobby concept launching within the hotel.
With its own dedicated children’s play area that adjoins our hotel restaurant it is the perfect spot for families to unwind.
Updated children’s play area
The children’s play area includes:
- Xbox
- Two iPad tablets for games
- A reading corner
- A play kitchen
- A wooden train set
- Comfy seating with a corner sofa
- Two wendy houses
- Two flat-screen TVs
For those who are joining us for business, our open plan dining area as part of Phase 2 is having high-rise bar tables installed with power sockets. Phase two of the refurbishment will be completed at the beginning of March.
What is happening in phase three of the refurbishment?
Phase three of the refurbishment is our Far lounge which we are really excited about! This is because several walls are going to be knocked down to create an open plan area and you will be able to see from reception all the way through to the back of the restaurant.
For those who know the hotel well, the fish got re-homed with our maintenance team and are settling into their new home!
