With the hotel located just off the M3 Junction 13 and M27 Junction 5, we’re a great base from which you can explore the Christmas-themed activities going on locally.
Start the festivities in Eastleigh
The festivities begin in Eastleigh with the Eastleigh Christmas Lights Switch On on 16th November 2019 with a Christmas market and firework display – perfect for everyone!
Enjoy a Christmas market and ice rink in Winchester
Only eight miles away from the hotel, Winchester is another place to visit this festive season. They have their Christmas market by the Cathedral which creates those perfect Instagram moments and memories to create with your friends and family. If you’re brave enough, they even have an ice rink in the centre of the Cathedral!
Enjoy coastal views and Christmas vibes in Southampton
If you fancy heading towards the coast, Southampton is only 5 miles away with their German Market. Bring your families to watch Santa fly over Southampton High Street, which will be filled with German Market stalls where you can pick that perfect Christmas gift.
Finish the evening off with another picturesque moment at the pop-up ice rink with the Southampton Wall backdrop.
Grab those last-minute Christmas gifts in Whiteley
If you want free car parking for up to four hours and to shop until you drop Whiteley Shopping is the place to go with shops open until 8 pm. Based just off Junction 9 of the M27 it is the perfect place to shop after that meeting to pick up those last-minute gifts.
Experience New Forest at Christmas
With the entrance to The New Forest only a 15-minute drive away from our hotel, it is perfect for winter walks with your friends and families plus you can see the famous New Forest ponies.
Head back to the coast and see Portsmouth
If you fancy heading further afield, Portsmouth is a great option. With Outlet Shopping at Gunwharf Quays and the Historic Dockyard Christmas Festival it has plenty of variety for you and your friends.
Go on the Christmas tree light trail in Bournemouth
This year the Christmas Tree Light Trail returns to Bournemouth Parks, and it leads down to the beach. Yes, there are members of the south coast that do actually venture into the sea on New Year’s Day!
